Ethical Leadership for a Sustainable Future
The Ethical Leadership for an Inclusive Future (ELIF) initiative, launched in 2025 by Globethics in collaboration with the All Africa Conference of Churches (AACC) and supported by Brot für die Welt, aims to strengthen ethical leadership and inclusive governance across Sub-Saharan Africa. The initiative will be implemented in six countries and focuses on empowering civil society organisations (CSOs) to promote accountability, inclusivity, and sustainable transformation.
ELIF encourages the adoption of anti-corruption policies, enhances diversity in leadership by increasing youth and women’s representation, and advocates for good governance at the national level. Building on the success of the African Church Assets Programme (ACAP), ELIF extends its reach to all sectors, with the goal of fostering lasting societal change in the region.
African Church Assets Programme (ACAP)
Ethical Asset Management aims to develop the accountability and transparency of leaders in assets and resources management. Over the course of 10 years, the African Church Assets Programme (ACAP) helped leaders in church institutions to build practical capacity in a climate of strong accountability and transparency in the management of assets and resources.
Integrating Ethics in the National Higher Education System of El Salvador

In a significant development for El Salvador’s higher education landscape, Globethics, in collaboration with the National Directorate of Higher Education (DNES), the Evangelical University (UEES), and Universidad Salvadoreña Alberto Masferrer (USAM), has launched the first milestone in the project “Integrating Ethics in the National Higher Education System of El Salvador.” The project aims to embed ethics as a core element across all higher education institutions (HEIs) in the country, setting a new standard for ethical leadership in education.
Higher Education - Ethics Model of Excellence Tool (HE-EMET)
The Ethics Model of Excellence Tool (EMET) has been designed to serve as an Ethics Performance Management System (EPMS) for academic institutions. The tool enables higher education institutions to conduct their own Ethics Performance Assessments and to adopt a continuous improvement approach. The EMET contributes to the establishment of Benchmarking, Monitoring and Evaluation for Higher Education Institutions and sets the standard for a Global Ethical Ranking System.
Globethics University Ranking
The Globethics University Ranking (GUR) provides the first global ranking instrument that places values, ethics and sustainability as central principles of higher education institutions worldwide. The aim is to demonstrate that institutional reputation, grounded on integrity, and the wider impact of higher education on society, the environment and the corporate world are indivisible.
